Who knew I’d find some great craft brews in San Antonio on a business trip? I checked out Beer Advocate to find good beer places and it mentioned Gabriel’s Wine & Spirits Superstore. They have an outstanding selection of craft beers including a lot of regionals that I have never seen before. Below you can see my hotel room fridge after I spent $25 there:

So far I’ve only tried the Breckenridge Brewing Vanilla Porter but it was really good. I almost bought a six-pack but ended up with a single after I grabbed a 750ml farmhouse ale (La Bestia Aimable from Ranger Creek, brewed right here in San Antonio).
