Sorry about the week of downtime, the server took a hard crash due to hardware failure a week ago. Thanks to the efforts of bri and mike she’s back up and running. Now if I can only remember the 2-3 posts I wanted to write during the down time…

I really liked my old theme (Fighting the Darkness) because it had the rounded, bolted on to the side look for the sidebar but I finally decided that I needed to get a newer template that was widget-ready for WordPress and handled CSS better (the sidebar fonts on the old look weren’t right). I settled on Mandingo from onehertz. It has a lot of customizable features including color schemes so don’t be surprised if you see a something besides green on your next visit. I also got off my ass and made a favicon out of one of my favorite  comic book character, Milk (from Milk & Cheese). In case you have a really high-res monitor here’s the original image:

Holy crap, I really suck at this, don’t I? I have some stuff to post from Comic-Con last month but don’t have time at the moment. To tide you over here’s a quote I loved from a King of the Hill episode:

So out of the blue I picked this Green Marinée theme for the site. No idea where the name came from but it was the best of the half-dozen I actually looked at. I’ll probably change it later, or at least customize it.

I had a blog-thingee with some friends but posting stories causes errors and we can’t figure the damn thing out so I started my own. I needed a place to post some of the crazy shit from around the Internet and this is it.
